Girls Mailing List

A couple of jobs ago shortly after I started I found a mailing list called girls. I can't remember if I was getting messages from it or if I saw it in the list of addresses in the system. Either way I found that my name was on it. Not sure how I got on the list. HR certainly must have my gender in their files. Did someone get a welcome email about me and just dump me in that list. I seem to recall my female boss was very cool about it and said she would personally look into it. She had no idea why they would have such a list and did chuckle a little after she saw that I had a sense of humor about it.
